Citrine :)

Postby citrine » Sat Jan 16, 2016 7:28 pm

Hello, everyone :)
Well... before I ended up in Sweden and "crystallized" into this happy and cheerful form I went through 30 years of inferno in so many ways... the main thing in the end that I made it :) I don't like to talk about the past but it included, among other things, government job (within IT security) in another country, activism, running a netlabel / promo group, moving to another country, survival and healing. Spiritually I progressed from atheism through agnosticism and new age-inspired path (briefly) to the point where I am now... and now my path is very very eclectic, and I'm still in the beginning of a journey. Went through very rough spiritual awakening a year ago, and everything in life gets transformed more and more... or rather gets closer and closer to the original "blueprint", as they say "once a witch always a witch" :) it's all about learning, and looking forward to learn more and more, and getting to know all of the lovely people here - was reading EUTM forum for quite some time and the atmosphere here is lovely :)

My practices include tarot & oracle cards reading, working with crystals (especially drawn to lemurian seeds), making altars (currently setting up elemental altars in my room), working with incenses / aromatherapy, yoga, very special kinds of meditations when I somehow manage to see the purple tunnel sliding backwards and then... a lot of stuff I just can't make sense of still (although some things look like flashbacks from the past incarnations, and that's the reason why I identified exclusively as a "starseed" for a while), all with closed eyes - clairvoyance and not visualization... and planning to take reiki course as well this year.

Other than that, I make music for about 16 years (trance / ambient / new age), interested in astrology and doing everything possible to get accepted to the uni here in Sweden to finish my bachelor's in IT security next year - spells for boosting luck in this department will be one of the main themes for me this year

So - a lifetime of learning :) and the learning never ends!

Nice to meet you. I am also an eclectic. My path is green witch. I do Reiki. I am just getting into yoga. I enjoy crystals. I grow herbs and use herbs - love herbs! Good luck with your schooling. I think our paths mean lifelong learning!

Thanks for all the welcomes!
That's fine about altar thread, just wondered if there was anything else to take into consideration.
Indeed! Even if sometimes it feels that life's on pause in many aspects... When others get to know your progress, they describe it like "OMG, you move forward with a speed of a space shuttle!" :D but you never know!
That said, managed to learn Swedish in less than 2 years, speaking the language fluently... and just a year ago i was still clinically depressed. Space shuttle indeed :)
I totally agree with you, surprises at the very best bring positivity, at the very worst they bring clarity. sometimes both :)
Being incarnated here and now is quite amazing thing after all!

Myrth, thanks and indeed - the more one knows, the more is left to discover... somewhere something incredible is waiting to be known ;) Herbs are very important! planning to learn making own essential oils in future, it's also an art to master!

PS: how did my messages end up edited? I guess I have to adhere to all these punctuation rules, capitalization and such things that I usually avoided at the forums. Going to fix that, sorry!

I think you already fit in here e really good ;)

Yes space shuttle must be the exact right term. Wow! Swedish in two years - boy oh boy - to me it's such a strange language.

I live in Germany grew up trilingual (English, German, Lithuanian) - in school I had latin and French - Italian, Spanish and Portuguese as well as dutch seem so easy to me. Think I could learn em in no time. But suomi? I don't get it :D

Welcome. You have had an eventful journey. I think we have been accused of being overly meticulous about grammar and punctuation, as well as spelling, but it makes the posts easier to read and understand. That doesn't mean that no one can ever ramble. We just like identifiable points in posts.

That's great to know, blue_moon! WOW, so many languages, that's impressive! For me, apart from English and Swedish, it's about fluent Russian (slowly dying), basic Tagalog (thanks to filipina ex) and basic Toki Pona :D I'm mostly an ethnic finn, so when it comes to suomen kieli - yeah... didn't manage to learn that one still :D strange language and strange ancestry. If you know Swedish, you can understand 70% of Norwegian bokmål, but again... Germanic languages are quite easy to learn. Thanks SnowCat & that's fine about grammar :) motivation for improvements as well then!
