I need help with negative energy!

Something is really wrong. I feel emotional all the time. Like something bads gonna happen. I can't stay away from my partner for more than a day without feeling dreadful. I just feel drained and negative. Have I done something wrong or have I caught the shadows?

I would recommend doing a few things. First, cleanse yourself, and your home, in any way that feels most familiar to you. If you've never cleansed before there are quite a few ways it can be done - you can mix salt with water and sprinkle it on yourself and around your home. You can light incense, and purify yourself with the smoke. Many people are fond of sage, but frankincense, rosemary, and many others work well. Heck, you can even take a pot and pan and bang it loudly all over your home and around you, the loud sounds are said to drive the negativity away.

Now it's also possible that this is not anything negative, it's just stress and anxiety. Those can strike at random for a lot of people. So, in addition to cleansing just to be sure, it would also be good to take up some relaxing hobbies. Meditate, walk, run, paint, anything you like. If it doesn't help you might want to talk to a doctor, because sometimes sudden anxiety can be a symptom of a medical problem, or even a problem on it's own that can be addressed.

Actually, regarding sage,
Would shop bought £2 white sage cones work well enough? I haven't got much money at the moment so it's a bit cheaper than £7 smudge sticks

The cones will work. It sounds like additional financial stress would just make things worse.

You could also burn some of the herb - from a tea bag. It's not the price tag that gives it the properties and strength.
