My fire representation...Should I change it?

My fire representation...Should I change it?

So I have a small piece of coal on my altar that I took from our fireplace outside. Now I have found out that my dad has burned a deer head in the fireplace...for totally mundane reasons (The dog brought it home). But now I'm worried that maybe I shouldn't keep it on my altar anymore?
It seems no one can help me now, I'm in too deep,
There's no way out, This time I have really lead myself astray.

Maybe you could associate it with the sacrifice of the Horned God, and honor the deer.
I'm sure the flame decontaminated it.
