Hello everyone, I am Silvanna and I'm happy to become a member of this community.

I'm a 21 yeard old woman from Romania. I love my county but here the majority are Orthodox Christians so I haven't meet any Wiccan until now. I was born and raised as a Orthodox Christristian but I always felt a deep connection with nature and a dislike of the Church conservative attitude towards women and their place in society. I've always wonder why a woman can't be a Priestess, and I consider it unfair.
When I 1st found out about Wicca I was pleased to see that they appreciate women and that they play an important role.

My hobbies are painting, gemstones, flowers, walks in nature and history.
I dislike being told what to do, people who think their way is the only way and hypocrisy.

I share your problem with finding other Wiccans or Pagans...I'm sure there are some but they keep it in the broom closet because of the Orthodoxy.
I also like your position to the rights of the women. I could never accept the fact that a man is superior to a woman just because he didn't bite from that apple first.

PS: when I first saw your name,I thought there might be a possibility that you are either from Romania or Moldova

So you're Romanian too! Nice meeting you! That's great, it's also funny how a fellow Romanian, you, were the 1st to welcome me.
Yes, I alcually register on 30 November but my application was approved on our National Day, 1st December.
I also think that we do have other Wiccans, Pagans among ud but don't come out since they fear the judgement of Chriatians.
Of course, I wouldn't even think otherwise of my fellow Wiccans. You can't worship a Goddess and think women are somehow inferior.
If you don't mind me asking are you a woman or a man? I couldn't quite tell from your username. I know wolf is for male but I've seen other using the same word for both. Also from what region are you? I'm from Bacau.
