A shy hello from Scarlet

Postby Scarlet Woodland » Mon Feb 20, 2017 6:03 pm

Hiya all  I'm Scarlet, a solitary witch of the green/hedge/kitchen type variety. I live with my handfasted hubby in a village in Wiltshire.

I've been practicing on and off since I was twenty and am now thirty*coughs over number*. Tarot aside, I've tended to save my witchy activities for moments of serious need but would now like to delve deeper and bring magic into my life more fully. Am lucky enough not to have too many moments of dire need at this point in my life (occasional, giant bills of doom notwithstanding), which makes this a great time to explore the spiritual, less materially based side of my craft.

I'm really looking forward to chatting with some like minded folks, as while I'm not actively in the broom closet, I don't know anyone who shares my interests. I REALLY hate using the words I, I'm, I've etc... so I'm going to shut up now

New here myself , Scarlet...

Just an affirmation for you...( and gentle challenge )

Self confidence is a key to success in Witchery , and Magical Practice. There is nothing wrong in being you, in all you are, and are becoming, and stating so, to the universe, Otherworlds, and all inhabitants, thereof.

Best to you !

Truth well spoken Shawn. Don't worry; it's only those unpredictable, two legged inhabitants that make me nervous  I'm good with being me.

Am essentially a cat, so will slink around the walls, sniffing everything and watching from the corner for a bit... then jump on the sofa and be purring in no time

Merry meet, Scarlet!
Take your time to sniff and slink and then feel free to purr, meow or bite from time to time; the only condition, cough <except for the forum rules>cough, is to have fun :flyingwitch:

Heya Scarlet :-)
Welcome from your peer (one year difference) from Europe. Interested in your posts about herbs and kitchen magic!

Won't bite you because I broke one of my front teeth in an accident and now I have a sort of implant (it's not an implant but I don't know the correct English word). Dentist told me to be careful and not to bite anything hard with it. So you should be safe around me.

Meow..rrhmurrhh-oew ,

Greetings! You should find a place here. I'm 59 ( proud I made it this far after all the crazy s#!t Ive done) and the only
problem you'll have with my mouth is that I'll talk your ear off. Everyone has made me feel at home, I think you'll feel that way too.

Great to meet you all! I'm slinking onto the forum sofa as we speak :D

Will definitely be getting stuck in to the herby, kitchen, and potion threads soon as I'm on a major, botanical hunting kick. Making a lot of oils at the moment and have lots of fun research to do. Bath teas are up next :flyingwitch:

I could do with one of those implant thingies myself, as my biting fang has lost its evil point. Alas not during anything fun... I've done entirely too little crazy s*** of late newangel

Welcome to the Forum Scarlet Woodland,

I am sure you will fit in quite well, you can pretty much ask anything and someone with knowledge will reply, you can act yourself on this site and not feel scrutinized for being different which is a very nice feeling if you deal with non-believers who make you feel bad for being different.

Lot's of kind caring individuals on this site :)

Have a Great Day
