Fellow Wiccan and WayFolk.
I write this in asking. Please, if you would, say a small prayer for me. It's been Yule since the last time I took any time off from work. I am despretly trying to traing a subordinate so someone besides ME knows what my job is and how to do it. My biggest ray of hope is a potential four day weekend on the fourth but i do not know if it is going to go through or not. I may have duty that weekend witch will tether me to either a desk or my recall phone.
I am about to my limit here. VirginiaBeach has little in the way of Nature that I can go into and relax. There is always the constant urban influence and intrusion. My spiritual batteries are at a near dead empty. I feel opressed and weighed down even in my own apartment. There is so little to draw strength from in the way of the God or Goddess. If I can get away on the fourth, I can drive up to my farm in Tenn. It's in the Appalachans and flows bountifull with the Goddess and God's wild. (Most of the area is untouched woodlands because my wife's grandfather was a conservationalist.) It's a chance to escape the horrid humanity that is the Hampton Roads area. A place to recharge and reattune.
Please, pray I hold together long enough to make it.

The greatest advice I was ever given: It matters not what you believe. Only that you believe it wholeheartedly.
Wow...and here I found Virginia Beach to be full of such wonderful spiritual retreats that even after I moved out of the area, I went back there for some specific rituals that I needed to do in nature working towards my coven dedication.
There's a lot of very spiritual spots in VA Beach (which is why the area has such a diverse Pagan population)...it's just a matter of knowing where to look for them.
