Using up leftover beads and quilt fabric to make pagan jewelry.
This is a beaded leaf symbol for herbalism also earth, the backside there will be a small opening to insert dried herbs, but still thinking about some type of temporary closure so dried herbs can be replaced. The smallest seedbeads are 11/0. I have arthritis so beading is very slow.
The scissors also have leftover beads in fire colors and a charm.
The strawberry pincushion made it from seeing someone making a strawberry pincushion on youtube many years ago, but mine is smaller bit different shape. Quilting cotton thread old gold color. Thin baking paper for pattern, remove in bits using a pin and tweezers. Backside has some thin felt in parrot green for support of fabric. Tiny stitches backside make it more stiff holds shape.

Very crafty! That looks like it requires lots of concentration and perhaps a magnifier? Beautiful work

Ooo, another idea for beadwork. Thanks for sharing your jewelry! I have a gob of beads which inspired me to, a long eventuality due to other projects, to decorate some of my pouches. Truly inspirational, especially the part where you added a pouch at the back for herbs and maybe crystals.
