I'm going to post this here as i am not too sure if I should place it in the question and answer section or the animal stories section. If the Mods feel it needs to move then that is their right and privalidge.
On the way home last night, my family and I noticed as we came beside a half a block long row of scrub trees and brush, a Barn Spider. (This is an average sized orb weaver that is my Spirit Guide.) This wasn't unusual but was nice to see. Then we see two more, and two or three more...
All in all, we saw around fourteen in this little halfblock stretch including one over our heads that had built a nice web between the tops of a flat drowned scrub tree...and the power line over 12 feet above that?!?
1. Spiders don't congragate, unless its a group of males vieing for a female. These where all large enough to be distincly female.
2. even if all male. Beyond three or four?
3. When's the last time a spider made a web as out in the open as between a power line and a tree almost 12ft away?
I'm taking this as a good omen as they are my Spirit Guide, they were all on my path home and in front of me and spiders are traditionally a lucky thing to come across.
Has anyone else had this happen? If so, what where the results?
