How did you realize you were a healer?

I realized several years ago when I was calming an east Indian ladyfriend down one day, I had her lay down and relax, to think of good thoughts. I scanned around, through a LOT of baggage and found some things and told her why she was feeling the way she was, but I scanned the entire body.. and I noticed an irregular energy around her right ankle. After I woke her, I asked here why here ankle was still still bothering her... You shoud have seen the look on her face! She told me that she hasnt tod anyone about the injury she had on it.
I told her that I did a little work on it and smoothed it out a bit. It was like neading a cramped muscle, I had to lessen the energy spikes around the area so it wouldnt hurt as much.

Thats my story, and to be honest, I was surprised at my ability also.

everyone has the ability to do anything they like, they just need to embrace every aspect of themselves, and it wil come, its as simple as that. and it isnt that surprising, becuase its an auric ability, you can feel, and maybe see the aura, i can heal things to, and so can everyone on the forum, they just choose not to.

i dont believe that for a second, theres too much in this world to do it all, mystical or otherwise.

Exactly. While I do believe we all have the potential to do ... nearly everything, if you want to be successful at something you have to work at it, which takes away from other fields. Also, a lot of people out there simply can't. They are lacking an ability. At that point it isn't a choice, they can try their heart out, they just can't.

But then they are probably really good at something else that others might be in his old shoes for.

I think that everyone is born with certain abilities, but you have to work to bring them out of yourself. See, I can't, for the life of me, see auras (sp). I mean, I can sense them and see shimmers, but can't see full blown colors like my friend can. I've tried for years and gotten no where. Eventually I moved on and realized I'm really good at charging things and working energy, but I had to work at that too. I get really frustrated at people that expect to get a spell and then it'll just work. Or for someone to tell them a tech. for doing something and it'll just happen. They have to practise and try and try and try, some more than others. Without trying I wouldn't be able to do anything. I was born with sensitivty, but it was slight, probably not more than anyone else, but I built on that with hard work and patience. Sorry...that was kinda a rant. I just thought I'd contribute to this.

rant away, you kinda supported my point. magics just like any talent, there are some who just cant do certain things, like cosmology for instance i was look up past exams for the HSC and decided to look at a cosmology paper instead, and the first question was

"Ω(omega)=1, relate this to the density of the universe"

even if i'd taken the class i wouldnt have understood it(the questions only got queerer from there). whereas other classes i could do without really having to think about it. generally speaking it would be a very dull world if everyone could do the same as everyone else could.

I am not one of those people who believes you can be great at everything you try. I think we all have gifts that we are better at. You can learn everything to some degree, but some things are better left to those who it comes naturally too. I wish to the Gods that I was a natural healer, but it is just not meant to be this time around. I can only heal mild maladies such as fevers, colds, etc.

I am on my way to lerning , i guess, how to heal. I can look at like my fionce's back and see where its herting, at first i thought it was just in my head or something, tell i tested it and asked him if it hert here, and then put my hand on another spot and asked if it her there. But i have no idea what to do after that. Well i do know what to do, i just cant do it. Or havent succeded with it yet. I havent tryed looking at other people though.

I'm still not sure if I can but the sayings goes if you can heal you can hex and vice-versa.My hexes are pretty strong but healing I'm not sure of although i can give a good message lol my healing takes time but hopefully i can make it as good as my hexes >.>
