Whats your favorite Crystal/Gemstone?

for ruby and sapphire belong with emerald and diamond.
and mentioning moon stone you shouldve mentioned sun stone.


but as far as the pole goes you shouldve used the most commonly known/used

but my favourite crystal is "Lapis Lazuli"

Hmm, I have to agree with Sobek here. There are literally hundreds of Crystals, these few don't even scratch the surface (I think that's the right saying)

Maybe it would of been better to just ask what everyone's favourite Crystal is without the Poll.....

Anyway, mine is Aventurine

Actually, I had a lot of stones and apparently, it won't let you put more than five choices for a poll (I was pretty angry because I accidently put sumbit when I was on 23 and I saw it said I had too many choices). Sorry!

Well, honestly, you shouldn't make a poll with that many choices. That's silly and impractical. Just ask instead.

I have a few favorites, but no one yet. Lapis Lazuli, sodalite, and kyanite at this time seem to be on top... hmm, all bluish stones...

Isn't it funny Sercee, I seem to be attracted to green Crystal/Stones. Apart from my Tigers Eye I've recently purchased I didn't actually go in the shop to buy Tigers Eye, I just saw it and HAD to have it. I later found out Tigers Eye comes under my Zodiac Sign, as do green Crystals/Stones. I mean I love all my others but these seem more drawn to me than the other way around.

I've definately learned that I shouldn't just get crystals because I like them. I get them when I need them, and then I let them choose me. I don't always end up getting the one I thought I would either

its interesting you bring up need, does anyone else find they cant feel energies from some of thier crystals untill they need them, my obsidian is like that

My bloodstone and my aventurine are both like that. I love both crystals, but they don't usually cross my mind to carry them. When they do, though, it's almost a plea.

I agree! I don't get Energy from all my stones all the time. I find my Lapis to be a little like that, sometimes even my Amethyst which is a little strange. I'm working close with both of these stones at the moment though and they are working a treat. They seem to know when they want a good old rest though

one of my Amethysts is a little wierd, sometimes his colour such a deep purple and strong and other times he feels hurt and is colourless. its a little strange.

That's strange Sobek. My Amethyst has never changed colour but it does have its own mind, totally lol.

My Celestite sometimes changes, but only a very subtle colour change.

I wonder if they can change colour from the way we keep them i.e. in the dark, too much sun, etc, etc?

That's weird that you'd say that. When I was playing around with my crystals last night I noticed something like that with one of my amethysts. I have two: One is tumbled and richly colored, the other is raw and moderately colored. But last night when I was choosing which one I was going to use for a project it seemed weaker and paler than usual. I hadn't noticed that before.

I like using carnelian to store excess energy, it may not be the best stone for the job but for me it works extremly well especaially as my ring is set with a carnelian stone

I love working with stones, I love opal, Amethyst, hematite, tiger eye, Avanturine,
I remember as a kid I would always end up with amethyst jeweley, and I would always hate it how it was typical, but for some strange reason it was always that stone that I would get,now ive accepted it in my life...lol...and I whear it everyday, it's was never my stone of choice but yet I always ended up with it, now I love the energie it brings me.


I want to find a nice opal necklase but it's so hard to find arround here.
