(love/pleasure spell) Err. Don’t know what I did.. pls help

First of all, welcome to the board

Second, I advise you to take a look at some of the threads we have posted under 'Spells and Rituals'. You can't reply to them until you join the inner circle but you can read them.

Basically, love spells are tricky business and I personally don't think they should be cast at all... though it appears you just asked for love and not a specific person, so that isn't so bad...

As to casting it 9 times ( ) I'm not so sure that was a good idea. The effects of a spell usually take time to be noticed, and if you felt that you messed up a spell it isn't really good to simply repeat it. You should undo your mistakes from the previous one before trying again, or spend some time each morning after the initial casting meditating and reinforcing your intention... the words are important, but your intent and focus are what makes it really happen.

As to blowing out the candles, you won't blow away the magic. Everything you use in a spell is symbolic to you, so it'll only blow away the magic if you believe that it is. There are some spells I've seen that specifically direct you to blow out a candle, and there's others that ask to let them burn down. The reason I don't blow out candles is out of respect for the elements; I feel like I'm just brushing off Fire when I do that so I deliberately snuff the flame instead, I'm being mindful of it.

you could pour some water over it...but then you risk turning the water elementals against the fire elementals and water and earth always join forces against fire and air and then we just have a whole big mess!

use and abuse, cause and effect. un-doing is harder than doing. if it is easier to undo something than you were never really devoted to an outcome, my personal view on that.

but i feel your biggest mistake was your lack of preparation, you said you screwed up your wording...therefore your intentions, you lost it, you cast it repeatedly. in future one should make sure it's exactly how they want it before doing it.

Welcome to the board!

You have no worries re "blowing the Magick away." It's known that if you blow out the candle(s) you are adding more of the Air Element to the Spell which = to unbalancing it, who knows? I always use a snuffer (better to be safe than sorry in my eyes) but I doubt it would do much harm from blowing them out.

PS: I echo what Sercee has said
