Another small collection.

I made a post awhile back with a small collection of some of my favorite works, here is yet another collection but with my newer poems.
Again, criticism is welcome as well as compliments, or anything you'd like to say.

"Lucifer's Spell"

Her lips are red
Her eyes alight with fire.
Her body the perfect image
Of a mortal man's desire.
Her golden hair
So much like the sun.
Her honey voice
Makes me come undone.
Her short mortal life
Is sweet in my eyes.
I wish to stay with her,
Rather than live a thousand lives.
My charred and ashen heart
Is slowly fading away.
Yet when I feel her lips
My night becomes day.
She'll leave me soon,
And I'll return to hell.
This wonderful, beautiful girl
Will be no more than a remembered spell.

"Protector"

The forest cried
For the man had died.
The man who fought
And changes he sought.
He was the guardian,
The one safe den.
He fell in love
With a beautiful dove.
Her skin so white,
Her eyes full of light.
She tore his heart
Ripped it apart.
She left him there
With a smile so fair.
The fairy folk came
Sought the woman to blame.
The man cried out
One very last shout.
"Do not grieve my friends,
though this is the end.
Carry away my soul,
Bring my heart which was stole.
Save your tears,
Banish your fears.
For I'll come back,
And follow your tracks."
His body gave in,
And cry did his kin.
For never was there a great man,
Who protected the forest clan.

"Lady Winter"

When the clouds are rolling,
And turn so deep grey.
The night decends,
Closing in on the day.

She lays a blanket of cold,
With a heavy cry.
The flowers all wither,
And leaves start to die.

When she embraces the earth,
The waters all turn to stone.
She hides away, frozen,
She's all alone.

Lady winter has come,
And she will not let us forget,
The harsh cold bitterness
Of the winter's threat.

"My Fallen Angel"

Spread your wings,
Reach for the sky!
Never look back.
Never ask why.
Reaching out with
Pale white hands.
So confused
In these strange lands.
Fallen Angel,
How do you fair?
With those ashen eyes,
And golden hair.
Fly to me,
Oh beautiful one!
Raise your wings,
To the bright sun.
Come to me,
To rest your eyes.
Come to me,
The open skies.

Blessed Be,
Wolf Heart
