What's your energy?

I was just wondering how people raise their energy for magick? And how they visualise it...

Like mine...I visualise an electric blue light flowing through. The world is a web of energy and this light flows through it. I know when I'm raising energy because I get a buzz/vibration throuhgout my body.

I was wondering how everyone else feels when they raise energy and whether they visualise anything or not?

I stand for mine mostly however you can do it my way as long as both your feet are firmly on the ground.

I visualise green light coming from the earth up through my feet, (no guessing needed that I use the element Earth mostly ) and enveloping all of my body, then it runs either out through my hands or if I'm doing chakra work, through my chakras.

Somehow, my energy always ends up blue. I simply feel the energy and close my eyes. It takes a shape of its own really...guess my element is water after all *sigh* (love fire)

Whenever I do yoga, or spells, or rituals or anything that means raising my energy I feel warm to really hot. If I put my hands together I feel a lot of heat and other people claim I'm burning up and having a fever or something (method #56 to skip school). It's the way I feel energy (some feel hot, others cold, others as a buzz).

woah I never really thought of it in that way....Im a water sign too...I find that really really interesting....two water signs both using the colour blue for their energy, and one earth sign using green....coincidence? Maybe!! Maybe not....Id like to think not! :p x x

Um, for me, my personal energy is... electric neon lime green. It even has that static-y look that one would imagine electricity would have if you could see it close up. It seems to come in tendril-ly clouds, or rays if I'm focusing pretty hard. Also, energy that is my own feels warmer and well, familiar. Like recognizing your own perfume in a room. Also, it's tingly in my hands. It even looks tingly.

The funny thing is, I never consciously picked this color. I just saw it sticking to my hands one day, and knew it felt like it was an extension of me and started trying to manipulate it one night. I was 7 or 8 at the time, and had never read a book about magick.

I sing the body electic too,lol. I don't 'see' mine,but others do. Apparently it changes in colour,depending on what is being done and there is a slightly sweet coppery scent around when I'm active.

I can feel mine too, but i can't see it. I envision it as white, but i am a fire sign. Haven't really tried blue before though.

well my energy can be any colour for me, i call upon it by willing it, either using my own energy or the energy around me.

but i visualized it yellow (i associate yellow with electricity)

im a water sign but usuallu when i need to focus energy i visulise im in a black expanse kind of floating and what im focusing on is bathed in flickering light kind of like liquid fire and the more i focus the brighter and more intense it gets.

Not sure why im like that but it seems to work.

Once I get started to focus energy, the center sphere becomes the color of my intent. I get that flickering light which can become like fire, above me. When spirit visitors come, it is in that light above me, where they are easy to see. Visions take place in the light also. A blue/white energy field still surrounds the outside edge though.

Maybe the reason the flaming light is above me now, this year have only been using my Native ceremonies, which don't use any candles. I still see just as much light, maybe even more, than when did Wicca spells with candles.

The color of my energy is hazy white, like white smoke or fog. I draw it from the air and breath it in, not surprising as my element is air. Occasionally when I draw energy from everything around me, the energy just looks like wavering air, beyond color.

These are interesting. I've been doing an exercise where you feel energy coming up from the earth and at the same time energy coming down from the sky crossing and washing back over me. The earth energy is like golden liquid fire, the sky energy is blue white hazy light. I feel and visualize energy differently in different places too- the living room is much different from outside.

my energy always seems to be golden!! golden light comes from the earth through my feet and from the heavens through my crown and i usually channel it from my hands or heart. but sometimes its all colours too. lately ive been very drawn to pink without knowing why and last night i really needed some help with something so i called to my spirit guide and he appeared to me as a beautiful soft pink being.
i think energy can be any colour, all colours and none... good to take note though. im also an air sign
