In the hills of the South
There is a range that stands out
In the heart of Alabama they lay
Upon their slopes I wish to spend my days
The Fall colors give way to the winter cold
The Winter decays into Springs hold
Spring turns to the Summer heat
And Summer turns to Fall in defeat
The beauty of the hills shines in the sun
For they are truly second to none
