i need help finding the right curse
i need help finding a curse that fits a situation. After a long nasty battle of a relationship i have an X who consitently writes serious lies and slanderabout me nline as well as has been giving away large details of a coven we had together. i have requested this stop and it has only gotten worse. anybody who has any ideas on where i should look let me know. I have never cursed someone before.
thanks echolday

I wouldn't suggest cursing him, that seems a bit extreme. However a type of binding spell may be useful.
I don't know of any particularly, I usually make my own spells, but you may look into finding a spell to bind the tongue. To bind him from saying anything harmful about you or things/persons you're associated with.
I'll try to find you one.
//Edit\\
Okay I found this spell on the site, you can easily tweek it.
Need: A picture or artifact of the person, tape
Take an artifact or picture of the person and bind it with tape while saying:
(Name of person) I bind you from doing harm to others or yourself. (instead here you could say "I bind you from doing or saying anything that may bring harm to others or yourself)
Repeat that 3 times.
Hope that helps.

Yeah cursing sounds like a bad idea to me too!! I also would suggest binding...looks like Wolfheart beat me to it though!lol! I have a binding poppet spell here if you should want it:
What you will need: A poppet and a black cord
Sprinkle the poppet with salt water and say:
Creature of magic, made by hand, I charge you into life. You are no longer mere materials, but flesh and blood. I name you (person to be bound). What you see, she/he will see, what you hear, she/he will hear; what you feel, she/he will feel. You are her/him in this world and all others.
Breathe life into the poppet by visualising the person. Take the black cord and slowly bind it around the poppet. If the person is spreading gossip, you may wish to bind the mouth in particular. Say:
Hear my will, you are bound
By sun and moon, you are bound
By rock and water, you are bound
By fire and wind, you are bound
To do no more harm
Do no more harm
No more harm
No more harm
No more harm
You are bound
In the names of the God and Goddess
At the end of the ceremony, take the poppet out of the house, towards the North and bury it under a heavy rock. Leave it there for as long as you wish. When the threat is no longer present, dismantle it and burn it.
Hope this helps sweetheart x

If you believe you were part of a coven with him, your hands may be literally tied... there may not be anything that you can do to stop him, depending on what oaths you took. Any action that you take against a brother/sister of your line returns to roost pretty darn hard.
Also, you're already bound to him by your oaths...why do a binding spell to further strengthen the fact that you can't get the guy out of your life? Binding a person's actions also binds you to them.

Yeah, talking to the spirits seems like the right option. First of all, you can appeal to the coven heart (pardon the cheesy name, but I've never heard of it called something... sometimes the hearth stone) When a bond is formed between members of a coven, it creates a separate entity who represents the coven. The best words I can come up with would be an avatar or an Allegory. If you appeal to the Avatar of your coven, you can find out what's what and let it know (though it may know already and have some plan in the works) what's going on and maybe vent a little. Granted, you should ground a LOT before you talk to her, but (they are usually female, but not always)
it's ok to show her that you are angry. Don't yell at her or anything, but ranting is ok... at least it was for the circle I was in. (That wasn't even a REAL coven and we actually had a pretty high functioning spirit!)
Find out what she's like first.
I think you will find that you have a friend on the Other Side (in the spirit world) and binding or other stuff might not be required. I'd do a spell to get that anger out and a protection spell for your coven, to protect reputations and the like.
I like using a 12 pound hand-held sledge hammer, pour your anger into it, then hammer a ceramic object with a bind to ground, so as soon as the object is shattered, the energy goes straight into the earth, and boy is it fun!!! It's almost as good as cursing someone, only without the guilt, complications, or potential backlash! The ceramic object can also represent your feeling of helplessness, or even your barrier to blocking him out entirely!
My biggest objection to using a curse in this situation is that he looks like he's already getting into the spirit of a witch war, and if you escalate that you will have a permanent enemy. He wants to be seen as righteous. Don't give him that opportunity.

One of the other public terms for this is "egregore."Yeah, talking to the spirits seems like the right option. "Karma shmarma", to quote someone here... I forget who.
Karma has exactly as much influence on you as you are willing to give it. This is not to say that considering all the possible ramifications of a given is -bad-, it's just to say that unless you believe in it, Karma won't have crap to do with the backlash of a spell.
If a spell backfires and you curse yourself, it's no one's fault but your own; That's not Karma, it's a matter of personal responsibility.

I agree with the rest of the gang on here. Cursing is serious business with serious consequences, karmatically speaking. If you're willing to pay the price for using magic in this way, then go for it. If you're not, then I would suggest finding another way. Disarming... Binding... Disempowering... Energy Redirection... Remember, every law has a loophole, even karmatic laws. You just need to know how to find them, and how to properly exploit them.
Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Bah. Karma. It's Hedgewitch you're quoting by the way.A fair few of us here, don't do karma.Curse is as curse is,do it or don't.Let go or stay involved.Binding is not for beginners,by the way, though the insta-witch authors would say otherwise. Why tie yourself to someone you want rid of? When you bind someone, you bind them to your will, do you realise you are taking responsibility for them? You are assuming control of their impulses, like a psychic 'power of attorney'?Better have a stronger will than your target and a stronger ability too.Same for cursing.Shit will hit the fan otherwise.
