empathy,numb

Postby raven123789 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 12:50 am

i sometimes get the feeling that i don't really feel anything at all i just feel numb, but then there are times i feel as if i'm sensing how other people are feeling and because of it i think my mind and body gets very confused??

does anyone else ever have that problem?,sensing things and haveing no control over it,not necessarily feeling numb

usually i would meditate but i haven't been able to lately

any suggestions as to how to handle it or what is going on with me?

this sounds familliar to me.

i used to have that all the time, though the numb part wasn't all that common to me.

what you need is to shield your incoming emotions so they don't affect you.
there are millions of way's to do it, so i suggest you develop your own shield, but to help you on your way, i use walls in my head.

clarification: i hope you know about the inner realm, it's like an astral plane only you are "GOD" there. some people say it's a complete fantasy world but i see it as reality inside my own head :P. anyway i put my empathic block there and build a wall around it with a few programmed hole's in it. ie: i let emotions through that deal with deception and such among other things.

it isn't a fail safe method since there is still one person that breaches my shield most of the time even though that person doesnt mean to do it.

when i used to have those numb feeling it was ussually after i have been crossed by an authority figure (which happened allot in my childhood) but that was ussually quickly replaced by rage and anger (up to the point where you feel your entire body tingling because of a lack of oxygen.

try different way's to go about it, because most people use their own technique's to shield and harness those abilities.
