Candle Scrying

Does anybody know anything about scrying with candles????I have wanted to learn scrying and I am getting a book soon but until then I need some help. I know you can use water, black mirrors, stones, smoke, almost anything, but I really only have water and candles available. Any help???

Reading a candle’s burning behavior & the wax drippings afterwards is one way ive seen scrying with spell candles. Interpreting is personal as with all scrying so there’s lots of wiggle room. It makes a difference In wax reading whether the candle is a taper or a glass-jar. The flame behaves the same either way.

Flame behavior
. Steady burn with minimal flame motion - all is going well with this spell.
. Low, blue flame - encountering resistance that must be overcome before spell can do it’s job.
. Jumping or lively dancing flame - there’s lots of energy but it’s unfocused so results will be scattered.
. Spitting, clicking, repeatedly snapping flame - the spirits are saying re-think intent & re-do at another time.
. Flame goes out for no physical reason after burning OK - that spell wasn’t right for the condition.
. Wick developed a blob - there’s baggage that needs to be cleared before results manifest.
. Wick split into 2 flames - you have extra help from spirit to effect the desired goal.

Taper candle wax is read if it builds up on one side & drips down to the plate.
. Location of the drip - on the far side opposite you shows the future of conditions. Wax on the side facing you shows present conditions effecting results.
. Look for suggestive shapes in the wax like reading tea leaves. Don’t over think it.
. Burn-time - a clean, steady burn leaving just a small stump or none - all is well with this spell.

Additionally flame gazing is hypnotic & can be used to learn to focus by retuning wandering attention to the flame, & by adding steady deep breathing can produce a light trance state. Inquiring on a matter while in trance can produce images on the mental screen or subtle interior-voice responses. Interpretation ... sigh. Go with your gut.
