Alright loves. Anyone have any healing methods for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Multiple sets of memories from molestings, Something to reduce regular family stress or belt/whip marks?.. Or the urges to cause burns and cuts for that matter.
Just thought I'd ask. Any help is appreciated.
Emotional or Mental Healing
I suffer from PTSD and a few things have helped and now I am at least able to stop the thoughts when they come. First, do you have a therapist? That would be a safe place for you to let your feelings out. (IMO) horrific memories of abuse need to be released, its a lot of time and work but its worth it.
Second is EMDR-eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. It is a drug free way to help get through the memories and lay them to rest. http://www.emdr.com/
