Ashes

[Fallen.]

The city laid dead,
buried in wasteland.
Nothing but ashes and rubble.
They searched for a sign of life,
but found none.
They almost gave up hope,
until the ashes rose.
Twirling with magik,
the fire was invoked.
The phoenix flew up,
bringing back life.
The rubble dispersed ,
the ground was flattened.
The trees grew higher,
and they became scattered.
Nothing but forest was left.
