having a nightmare and then BOOM-- things fall off the wall

i was having a nightmare last night... can't really remember what it was about. i think it involved some guy kinda trying to "chase" me, but not in the typical sense. he was like trying to get inside my mind and stuff i think.

anyway, during the point of major confrontation, at that very moment while i was trying to get him away from me, these daily affirmations i have hanging on my wall came CRASHING DOWN onto the floor. it kinda all happened at once. like, i was waking up right as they started to crash down.

what do you all think happened? do you think there was some ghost here messing with me? do you think it's something telekenetic that happened where someone may have been trying to "push" into my head, but i pushed back and then they things on my wall fell down?

i just find this all so weird. any explanation is welcomed, please. it was really scary.

i just pulled one of my angel oracle cards to see what might have happened. i got the card PLAYFULNESS. since these cards are only positive in meaning, it could mean anything. could mean it was a ghost just messing with me, someone playing with me in a psychic attack, or something innocent too. i don't know. lemme pull another card, this time tarot:

"emotional or psychic violence: evil."

omg... it was what i thought it was. it was a psychic attack. holy S**T. people... what the HECK do i do???

First off, how well were those things secured to the wall? It makes a lot of sense to me that as you're dreaming about needing to get away, you thrashed around in your bed a bit... could have banged into or hit/kicked the wall... that may have jarred the pictures enough to cause them to fall. (You know, just like with a lot of falling dreams, where you wake up and find yourself on the floor? Our dreams can entice physical movement while we're asleep. My daughter bangs on the walls all the time as she sleeps too.)

Second thought- natural phenomenon maybe? Did you check the news for any mention of a mid-evening earthquake? I know there've been quite a few in my area lately.

If it hasn't happened before nor again since, I'd recommend doing some purification and protection rituals to rid the space(s) of unwanted energies, and then focus on thinking positive thoughts. If it happens again though, you may indeed have a playful, mischievous spirit on your hands. Your angel cards could just have been warning you that if you don't take action now, you could/would have an evil spirit entering your space. Definitely- cleanse, purify and protect.

yeah, i understand your questioning, but the pictures were located on the opposite end of the room where the bed is at, and i live in PA and there were no earthquakes/natural phenomenons going on last night (if ever around here... lol).

i tried to clarify WHO was doing it (i.e. was it someone alive striking a psychic attack, or a spirit), and i got the hermit card. to me, that means "teacher/guru" and someone very wise. i'm starting to think it wasn't a ghost. it really felt more like someone alive was trying to communicate with me and... (i know this sounds crazy)... "test" me out. does that make sense? the fact that i was (lying still on my back) in bed, opened my eyes after i tried to get him to stop "chasing" me, and then after i opened my eyes the affirmations fell on the floor... just... i dunno. something weird's going on.

if it's NOT a spirit, what can i do to protect against a psychic attack from someone who is alive? and why would someone be doing that to begin with? any ideas?

great question, OW. the thing is, i had a row of affirmations. they are from louise hay. i printed them out and then created like 5 separate collages. 4 fell down, but one DID remain. sorry i didn't mention that before, but i was thinking of why only those 4.

i tried to look at the one remaining, but like i said it's a collage with so many different affirmations on them. i wasn't sure if this "spirit/person" was trying to send me a message on that one that stayed up or not. there are literally (counting the affirmations....) 24 on there. if it was intended to be a message, i'm not sure which affirmation i'm supposed to be focusing on.

My next question then would be, how well do each of these collages fit together individually? I mean, were they each 'themed' to a certain idea, path, or train of thought? I'm wondering if the entity thought they were 'gibberish' or 'wrong' in that sense. i.e. they didn't go together. Or, perhaps it didn't agree with them in general as you suggested. And did you sense this was a negative entity chasing you?

actually there was no rhyme or reason to how the collages worked. i just printed out a set of affirmation cards that were scanned into the computer and divided them up so that i ended up having 5 collages to hang on the wall. they all pretty much fit together because they all belong to the same set by louise hay, so i dunno.

the one strange thing i noticed is that on the one that didn't fall, there is an illustration of a "magician/witch" on one of the affirmations. if this was black magic of sorts (i.e. someone trying to contact me through the art of magik), it would be fitting that they would leave a calling card like this. that's the image that stuck out the most, not so much the affirmation (which was: "i create wonderful new beliefs for myself").

in the dream, it didn't seem NEGATIVE, per se, but it did feel wrong. like i stated, it felt like an attack. kinda like something was trying to be breached. like when a computer is being hacked, you know? and your firewall "blocks" the attack. that's how my head felt. like i was trying to ward off who/whatever it was from digging too deep into my brain. and at that point, when i was fighting him off, my eyes opened and then i the stuff fell off of the walls. i really didn't think much of it b/c i was so tired at the time. i simply got up to check on my dogs (who were terrified b/c it must have woke them up out of a sound sleep-- my one dog didn't want to come back into the room), picked up the the ones that fell and took down the one that didn't fall, and just went back to bed.

Hmmm.... Interesting. I'd say that if it felt like an attack or some kind of malevolent intrusion then it probably was. I'd take steps to beef up your personal and home protection. "Prepare for the worst but hope for the best." Added protection won't hurt anything if there was no attack but will protect you if it was because the entity will likely call again at some point in time.

okay, my friend made a very good point b/c she's had this happen with her spouse before, but... she thinks it may have been my own energy that did this b/c i've been really emotional/upset lately. the "nightmare" i was having may have set something off in me which may have just kinda "burst" out into the room as i woke up. so, it's a possibility, since her spouse had experienced very similar phenomenon when she was upset and going through emotional times. so i dunno. but i'm quite intrigued now. i mean, i've had other instances where my energy kinda manifested in weird ways around me, but never when i was startled from a dream and just woke up and BAM-- something randomly fell. i guess i'll find out sooner or later what i'm dealing with. i must admit i find it very intriguing though and wouldn't mind going through it again and trying to figure out what's going on.
