Eretik, That all sound strangly familiar. My husband and I mostly use staffs or bokken since he gave me a lovely new scar. It was all my fault for not blocking properly, but he felt a bit gilty 'bout it.
Enlightenment, thought about it a bit. Have you any intrest in the arts? Lots of pagans at our local art fairs.
I like to play spot the pagan using their jewlery as a clue. One of my few girl intrests.
Luck to you
Leslie
Hey Broadsword. I'm not really into the arts, though it's not something that I'm not into (if you know what I mean) but there is something that I'm interested in which has just cropped-up in my local paper

~ Since I posted this (tonight in fact) I was reading through my local newspaper and saw an add for a Ghost Walk (something that has always fascinated me), this particular Ghost Walk is held in the oldest pub in England and near by to where I live, the added bonus is Pagans are running the walk

so I'm going along with an open mind, not wearing too much pink (have been known to over do it and I don't want to scare others off) and hopefully there to meet some Pagan friends

I'm feeling really happy at the moment and very optimistic, whether they are like me or not I'm sure our religion and faith could give us both something to talk about.
Even though no one would ever guess I'm Wiccan I do always wear my Pentacle so that can often give it away, which I don't mind as it's often only other Pagan who notice and it gets you both talking.
